Introduction - Why Am I Here?
Welcome! I'm glad to have you on my site.
As I'm sure you've gathered already, my name is Megan and I'm a recently accepted student of the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine. This has been such a crazy experience, but I've enjoyed every second of it. (I think?? Okay. Maybe not.) Anyway, I am ecstatic to be a part of the UTCVM Class of 2025.
Pursuing vet school has 100% been one of the most challenging parts of my life. I've chased this dream ACTIVELY for almost 10 years now. I've worked hard at obtaining 3 college degrees, countless hours of hands on experience, and... for the most part, I've done it alone.
I have numerous goals in this blog. However, my ultimate goal is to share with the world how I got here, why I'm here, and how exactly I'm doing here. Because some of you? You're chasing this spot. You're after the feeling that I'm feeling. You've dreamt, and fought, and worked... where to next, right? Vet med can be a pretty discouraging field. But, I'm here to help where I can. Offer any advice I may be able to. Bring friends of mine in who can do the same. Answer questions. And maybe even have some guest bloggers? We'll see!
